Happy Halloween, month!
[each week this month I will be posting some goolish treats!]

The past few weeks I have posted treats for the human kids in your life, but today I am sharing a treat for the canines.

These treats were so simple to make and came together in less than 10 minutes. Plus this dough is MUCH easier to work with than sugar cookie dough, so don't be intimated.

Oh, and maggie loves them! I even wrapped up little baggies and brought them into work for my co-workers puppies to enjoy.

Peanut Butter & Pumpkin Dog Treats

Source: Allrecipes.com

2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350F.

Whisk together flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water, if needed, to make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff.

Roll the dough until 1/2inch thick. Using cooking cutters cut into pieces using.
Bake until hard, about 40 minutes.
