One of my best friends is expecting her first baby, and it's a girl!For her shower last week, I was in charge of favors. After doing a spin on "Snakes and snails and puppy dogs tails. That's what little boys are made of", I was dying for a chance to create a treat using the feminine counterpart.
And this is what I came up with...They are mason jars filled with different muffin mixes (raspberry, blueberry, apple cinnamon and banana). I added a label with the saying "Sugar and spice and everything nice. That's what little girls are made of" on one side and instructions on how to turn this favor into a sweet treat on the reverse. Finally, I tied each label on with a coordinating ribbon
(pink=raspberry, blue=blueberry, green= apple cinnamon & yellow= banana)
These are simple but sweet favors!You could customize the filling to fit your guest of honor. The possibilities are endless... sugar cookie mix, jams, candies, or brownie mix.
